Dear friends!

I am glad to welcome the organisers, participants and guests of Moscow International Festival of goods and services for expecting mothers, kids and their parents!

The Festival to be run for the fourth time is recognised to be one of the most exciting and socially important projects attended by thousands of young Muscovites and their parents.

The concept of the Festival is of high social significance, and, in conditions of birth rate growth in Moscow during the recent years, it will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of the status of a family and family values, prestige of parenthood, bringing up of healthy generation and popularization of the idea “Healthy Children to the Healthy City”.

This festival proves that there is a huge interest in our society in health preservation of mothers and babies, adequate upbringing, comprehensive and full-value development of children, and, as a result, demand for high-quality goods and services for expectant mothers, young families and children.

A lot of things in this field are being implemented in Moscow within city and governmental programmes. In spite of any economic difficulties and the crisis, the most important task of Moscow government is the protection and social support of Muscovites. And this year, while it may be not the best one in terms of economic situation, there will be no termination or cutting of any social programme.

I wish the organisers, participants and guests of the Festival every success, and I wish young visitors and their parents good health, happiness and well-being.
